Devoted. Talented. Caring. The team at Morganside is diverse in ability and united in mission: to care for you and your pet like you were our own.
Doctors
Dr. Bethe Deppe
Dr. Beth Deppe has been a dedicated full-time veterinarian at Morganside Veterinary Clinic for over 18 years. She is one of the rare vets who found the perfect fit of a practice right out of veterinary school (UW Madison, 2002) and has never left!
Dr. Beth has prospered richly from the ever-challenging casework, the beloved pets and clients, and the success of Morganside. Though she loves studying and learning, she has found that one day of medicine cases in a clinic is vastly more gratifying and educational than a full week of lectures.
Dr. Beth enjoys hiking and playing outdoors with her pack of 3 small dogs and 3 cats, cultivating numerous plants, playing scrabble, sudoku, and reading French novels. She hopes to travel to France, as she has been passionate about the language since childhood.
Some other aspirations that Dr. Beth envisions are:
- Learning and mastering ultrasound to augment her diagnostic repertoire. Diagnosing is what makes her tick!
- Editing/writing for a scientific journal. She comes from an arts & letters family.
- Retiring (or not!) to a WARM climate where she can go barefoot, wear shorts and swim, for more than 3 months of the year!
Dr. Marla Lind
Dr. Marla Lind, DVM joined Morganside Veterinary Clinic in 2017. When she was 8 she decided she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated from Iowa State University and is currently a member of both the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Marla’s attention to detail is a great asset to her work. Since her patients can’t talk, the details she gathers from conversations with clients, a pet’s history, the physical examination, and diagnostic tests are all important in determining the best care for each patient.
The most inspiring part of Dr. Marla’s job is observing the amazing bond that develops between pets and their people.
Dr. Marla has 2 cats and 1 dog. She loves going for long walks with her dog. She would also like to visit all of the national parks and would like to learn Spanish.
Dr. Nathan Monson
Dr. Nathan Monson D.V.M., visited his uncle (who is a veterinarian) when he was three years old. After he came home, he began telling everyone he was going to be a veterinarian when he grew up. Although Dr. Monson is not sure if he has fully grown up, three-year-old Nathan would be proud and not surprised to find out that he graduated from Iowa State University in 2008 and has been a veterinarian ever since. He began working at Morganside in the spring of 2020, so there is at least one good thing that happened in 2020!

Certified Veterinary Technicians
Diana
Diana joined Morganside Veterinary Clinic as an Extern for her technician program in 2013, she later became a full time Veterinary Technician, and is now a Certified Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Globe University with an Associate’s degree in Science in December 2013. Diana is inspired by those around her everyday and especially loves to work on medicine cases, this is where she flourishes. She thrives and is encouraged by watching a patient recover, knowing she had a hand in helping. Diana brings an upbeat personality to the team with a true love for the field.
Diana is a California native and misses the warmth and sunshine during the cold winters. She has lived in Wisconsin, with her husband and 2 kiddos, for 17 years… just about as long as she lived in California. The team would describe her as the clinic clown, always trying to get people to laugh. She has been heard saying “You can’t take care of others, until you take care of yourself!”
Browyn
Browyn joined the Morganside team in the summer of 2019 as one of the first students in Madison College’s new Veterinary Technician Hybrid program. She has had the wonderous opportunity to learn in school and work alongside technicians with years of experience, building confidence and practical skills, while creating a lasting relationship with a clinic team that promotes teamwork and shared learning. Browyn graduated with her vet tech degree in December of 2020 and is excited to continue learning and growing with the Morganside family.
Browyn has a Redfoot Tortoise and 3 cats, each with their own quirky personalities. She loves animals in general and has a special spot in her heart for the herding dog breeds. Browyn plans to pursue additional education in animal behavior and training. “It’s just so interesting” she says, “how much a bit of training and a deeper knowledge about the habits and drives of certain breeds can really benefit both the pet and the owner. They learn to understand each other better, and that’s a really cool thing to see.”
“Dogs are like that, I guess. They know how to fix you, without ever saying a word.”

Veterinary Technician Assistants
Nicole
Nicole joined Morganside Veterinary Clinic in August of 2020 as part of the Client Care Specialist team. She knew from the age of 5 that she would work with animals in some facet. She loves her job and gets inspired everyday by the team. Everyone is willing to come together to give the best care possible, and they are always there to life each other up. Nicole is a hard worker and always willing to lend a hand or go the extra mile. She loves to make her coworkers laugh and have fun at work.
Nicole would love to travel to Romania one day to experience and soak up the culture. She also wants to make sure her family is healthy and always taken care of.
A dream of Nicole’s has always been to start a no kill animal shelter in her area. She believes “if you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in the dark with a mosquito.”
